Our Church Family is made up of many people and organisations, with overlaps between them.
The ‘Worshipping Community’ are those who are likely to come to our services on Sundays or Wednesdays, when we gather to worship God together and to share in fellowship with one another. Linked to this is our ‘Messy Church Community’ where our worship is included within our themed activities.
We also have our ‘Volunteers Community’ which includes the many people who support the life and work of the church in ways such as bellringing, flower arranging, cleaning and churchyard maintenance.
The ‘Parish Community’ are those who live within, or place themselves within, our area of pastoral care and who are very much part of us and are likely to join us on special occasions. The many walkers who pass by each day, and often pop in for a quiet moment, would be part of this.
The ‘Partner Community’ are the various organisations and charities – both within the parish and elsewhere – who are closely linked with us either through mutual membership or financial support. This includes church partners such as the Diocese of Coventry, the Deanery of Kenilworth and the Churches Together in Kenilworth and District group; also village groups such at the Parish Council, Mothers’ Union, Toddlers, Village Hall, Sports Club, WI, Horticultural Society and the local committees of Cancer Research, Macmillan and NSPCC; and also our link churches and charities.
We hope that it also includes you somewhere and, if you are not part of the worshipping community yet, we would love to welcome you and share the love of Christ with you.
